Life, I have discovered, is all about choices. A choice to make it or to mess it all up! And as long as time and season remains, I daresay, choices will never pass away! What then remains standing between those two points of choice – success or failure – is unsurprisingly YOU; and all YOU need to do is to decide to make it.I’m sure this is clear to you by now if you’ve ever had the desire to be successful at anything praise-worthy.
But what I think we all often do relegate to the rear is the fact that the God who chose us and followed through to call us unto Himself more than desires to make us not only successful but more-so be SIGNIFICANT to our generation. Can you imagine a manufacturer wanting his product to fail on the market!
I’ll leave you to your thoughts… but really, if your quest for success is not being opposed by your Maker, the only thing that remains then is, as has always been, your choice, your resolve to make it happen! Make that choice here and now! NOTHING can stop you!
They that are for you far outnumber they that are against you; and GREATER IS HE that is in you than he that is in the world! Maintain that same stance at all times; be unflinching even in the face of adversity. In fact adversities or obstacles, I say, is only a confirmation that you are a bundle of success going somewhere to happen and they come to test the intensity of your resolve to get there!
God uses xchallenges to stabilize and build you up for that great role you will be playing soon in the lives of the millions of people out there starting right where you are now.You are just unstoppable!

indeed, i AM unstoppable!! my choices will either get me to my destination of success or will make me complacent in present state!! so long as God and i are majority, i am not stopping at anything below success !! God's will and purpose will come to pass in my life...i WILL accomplish what He has destined me to accomplish!!!

I appreciate your comments Nana Akua, thanks! Now in response to your question,this is my take:
Our first point of reference in dealing with life's choices is the The Word of God i.e. scripture. This is simply because we believe it is the ultimate expression of the mind of God regarding the whole of creation. So we make reference to it to guide our daily living.
Secondly, as children of God we have come to the place where His Spirit indwells us and as scripture would confirm..."the Spirit bears witness with our spirit..." (Rom 8:16). So if we have trained ourselves to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, we would often have some kind of assurance in our spirit regarding a particular choice or decision we have taken or about to take. This is often characterized by having peace in your heart (the peace of God) and also clear-headedness or sobriety of mind. And it would often end well when you make such decisions or choices.
In close relation to the latter is the guidance of your conscience which indeed has been intricately wired to help us deal with the affairs of this life. I will however not dwell too much on this medium for now.
Then again, individually, God speaks to us in unique ways...and, for me, a number of times He speaks through dreams and/or visions. He uses these means to show us the way forward or give us a glimpse of the future so we can make an informed decision. If we obey we reap the results, if we don't we suffer the consequences!
Outside of us as individuals, God also uses other people (in our context, other believers, our pastors, leaders etc) to help give us direction and/or guidance. So we have believers with the gift of prophecy, word of knowledge or word of wisdom speak to us concerning the mind of God regarding a particular situation.
The above notwithstanding, I must mention that, oftentimes, when such a word is given, we ourselves should or would of necessity have the inward witness concerning what it is God is leading or saying to us. This is a crucial thing to consider especially so because as spirit beings we can receive impulses from our own spirit and even from the devil and think God spoke to us...thus the scripture says..."test the spirits". (1 Jn 4:1)
So we are advised to not just take anything that is spoken to us but also work on ourselves to develop our spiritual "ears" to be able to decipher the leadings of God from all other voices that are.
